Lobesia: ♂valvae long; uncus developed, weak; socii large, drooping; ♀ostium strong with a large plate, signum a scobinate plate or absent
Endothenia: ♂uncus with a long narrow pedunculate stalk and clubbed apex; ♀signum a "squamous depression in the form of a pocket or sac"
Bactra: ♂ uncus well-developed, sacculus rounded or angular with a patch of strong spines; ♀signum a single scobinate patch.
