15.0201 Dialectica scalariella (Echium Stilt)
ws: 9-11mm; Aug-Sep?; leaf mine in Echium spp; status uncertain; 2 British records
At the time of adding §1 this species was listed in Appendix A (adventive species) of the RES checklist following the only previous British record (Kingsdown, Kent, September 2004). This specimen was obtained at a time of substantial migrant activity and Echium species grow freely on the Isles of Scilly. In 2022 it was raised from mines on Echium at Dungeness and has now been accepted onto the main RES list (6th update Jan/Feb 2023)
