ws: 11-14mm (MBGBI3), fw: 6-7mm (Sterling & Parsons); Aug-Sep; beech (Fagus sylvatica); common throughout GB except N.Scotland
ID: Forewing orange-brown; white dorsal streak usually interrupted at 3/5 by an incursion of ground colour. Similar to A.albistria, which is smaller (fw 4.5-5.5) and usually darker purplish-brown.
