ID: Ground colour varies from pale grey to tawny brown. Similar to X.designata (Flame Carpet) and X.spadicearia (Red Twin-spot Carpet) both of which have a more rounded forewing apex and lack the short diagonal apical dash shown by X.decoloraria.
