ssp bondii (Bond's Wainscot) formerly occurred in Folkestone, Kent but has not been seen since the 1970s and is considered extinct.

ID: Forewing whitish often with a postmedian line of neural black dots and a scattering of fuscous scales some of which hint at a median streak and fuscous irroration distal to postmedian line; hindwing whitish fuscous, much darker than forewing. Antenna: male - densely shortly ciliate, female- simple. Similar to P.minima (Small Dotted Buff) and P.extrema (Concolorous) but whiter than these species and larger than P.extrema.
