ws: 12-15mm (MBGBI5.1, BTM), fw: 6-8mm (Sterling & Parsons); Jul-Aug; wild parsnip, hogweed; NS-B downland and waste ground in England
Aethes dilucidana §1 male
ID: Forewing pale yellow with brown antemedian and postmedian lines the former not reaching the costa. A.francillana and A.beatricella are similar but in both these species both crosslines are complete.
