73.175 Oligia versicolor (Rufous Minor)
fw: 11-12mm; Jun-Jul; presumed to be grasses (Poaceae); local in England, Wales and S.Scotland.
ID: See Oligia. Very variable and cannot be reliably separated from O.strigilis (Marbled Minor) or O.latruncula (Tawny Marbled Minor) without genital dissection. Well-marked specimens with pale brown oval and kidney marks are likely to be O.versicolor.
Male genitalia: harpe - long and curved; pollex - long and slender; harpe slightly shorter than pollex
Female genitalia: without a distinct constriction between antrum and ductus bursae; large sclerotised area of corpus bursae
