Subfamily: Olethreutinae
Tribe: Grapholitini
The genera included here are some of those of Pierce and Metcalfe's 'Ephippiphoridii' and 'Lipoptychidii'. The 'Ephippiphoridii' are characterised by a pair of thorn-like signa in the bursa copulatrix. The genera Rhopobota, Spilonota, Gypsonoma, Gibberifera, Rhyacionia, Clavigesta are included in the 'Ephippiphoridii' but are now placed in Tribe: Eucosmini. The reason for considering these genera as distinct from 'Epibelmidii' is not clear. P&M consider the signa of 'Epiblemidii' to be 'pilleate' which they define in the glossary as "in the form of a Greek cap"; and those of 'Ephippiphoridii' to be 2 horns. The 'Lipoptychidii' are characterised by the signa being a single, curved, scobinate spine. All the species placed in P&Ms 'Lipoptychidii' are now placed in Genus: Dichrorampha
