72.035 Miltochrista miniata (Rosy Footman)
fw: 12-15mm (Waring & Townsend), ws: 25-33mm (MBGBI9), female smaller than male; (May-) Jun-Aug (-Oct); dog lichen (Peltigera spp) and other tree lichens; fairly common in broadleaved woodland in S.England and W.Wales, more local further north to the Midlands.
ID: Unmistakeable. Forewing usually pinkish red with a very wavy postmedian cross-line and a row of short subterminal dashes. Antenna setose-ciliate (in both sexes?). Form flava has a yellow forewing ground colour.
