ID: Green with whitish antemedian and postmedian lines on forewing and postmedian line on hindwing. Similar to Hemithea aestivaria (Common Emerald) but differs as follows (features of T.fimbrialis given first): hindwing termen notched so that it has two points vs with a single point; fringes chequered cream and reddish vs cream and grey; lines fairly evenly curved vs vs forewing antemedian line angulate subcostally, forewing postmedian line wavy, hindwing postmedian line angled parallel with the termen; antenna bipectinate vs fasciculate (in both sexes?); abdomen entirely green vs only dorsum of S1 green, dorsum of S2&3 red-brown, remainder of dorsum suffused greyish, ventral side white; legs all reddish vs foreleg reddish, midleg paler red-brown, hindleg whitish.
