Trichoplusia ni (Ni Moth) §1 male (image provided by Mick Scott)
ID: Forewing marbled brown and grey; Y-mark variable, usually with separate components, though they may be connected - a white 'n' outlining a pale lilac centre and a rounded white distal 'tail'; postmedian line white with a somewhat expanded white spot at its dorsal end; subterminal line with black interneural streaks projecting proximally from it in costal half.
