63.005 Pyrausta despicata (Straw-barred Pearl)
ws: 14-19mm; bivoltine May-Jun, Jul-Aug; ribwort/greater plantain (Plantago lanceolata/major); said to be local on dry ground on sandy and chalk or limestone soils, heaths and downs but I have found them commonly on Foulness which is coastal marsh / arable on clay soil.
ID: Quite variable in strength of markings, but more mottled and less clearly marked than any other British Pyrausta species
