73.027 Deltote bankiana (Silver Barred)
fw: 10-12mm (Waring and Townsend), ws: 25-27mm (MBGBI10); May-Jul (Aug); purple moor-grass (Molina caerulea), smooth meadow-grass (Poa pratensis); RDB resident only at Chippenham and Wicken fens, Cambridgeshire, but is a fairly frequent (presumed) migrant to the SE.England coast (mainly Sussex to Norfolk).
ID: Forewing olive-brown with two diagonal white fasciae, the more distal of which has a rounded projection from its proximal border subcostally and the more proximal of which has a variable short projection from its distal margin nearer the dorsum.
