35.065 Monochroa cytisella (Bracken Gall Moth)
ws: 10-12mm; Jul; bracken (Pteridium aquilinum); fairly common in woods and heaths on acid soil in England and Wales
ID: Head creamy-whitish; thorax ochreous; forewing ochreous-fuscous, palest at the base of the dorsum and darkest at the costa; an oblique whitish streak from the costa at 3/4 towards but not reaching the tornus; a shorter streak from the dorsum at 3/4; a series of white subterminal dots. A gelechiid that can be reliably identified on external features.
