fw: 17-22mm (W&T), ws: 40-50mm (MBGBI9); bivoltine Apr-Jun, Aug-Sep; various broadleaved trees; common throughout GB
ID: Antenna described in MBGBI9 as pectinate in male, however it appears to me to be dentate; ciliate in female; labial palps short, hairy, ascending; eyes slightly hairy. Brown with a cream-coloured thoracic tuft (coxcomb) and a dark mid-dorsal scale tuft (prominence).
