ID: S3 and distal half of S2 of labial palps white; forewing costa smoothly arched, termen rounded; ground colour dark brown; a strigulate antemedian fascia consisting of 2 transverse plumbeous lines, each edged on both sides yellowish-white (the dorsal half of this fascia has worn in §1); a series of short white strigulae on distal half of costa, the most proximal of which is extended as a plumbeous stria to the tornus, a branch extends from halfway along this stria to the dorsum; the second most proximal apical costal strigula is extended with a less well-marked plumbeous stria to the termen - these striae are all more or less edged with yellowish-orange scales. The basal (anal) margin of the hindwing of the male has a rolled projecting lobe containing scent scales (which was present but indavertently removed in preparation of §1).
