63.082 Crambus silvella (Bog Grass-moth)
ws: 22-26mm (Goater), fw: 10-13mm (Sterling & Parsons); Jul-Aug; sedges (Carex spp); pRDB - damp heath in Surrey, Hampshire, Dorset & Norfolk
ID: Very similar to C.pascuella, from which it differs as follows: 1) presence of a white spot in the mid-terminal region, in line with the broad white median longitudinal streak and interrupting the subterminal line - this spot being absent in C.pascuella; 2) the dark line interrupting the longitudinal streak at ~¾ is at ~60° to the costa - more or less parallel with the costa in C.pascuella; 3) The costal edge of the longitudinal streak is a little further from the costa.
