ws: 9.5-11.0mm; Jun-Aug; sea wormwood (Artemesia maritima) on sea-walls and drier parts of saltmarsh; sneezewort (Achillea ptarmica) in damp meadows and marshes and moist woodland rides; mugwort (Artemesia vulgaris), (Achillea millefolium), tansy (Tanacetum vulgare), ox-eye daisy (Leucanthemum vulgare) on dry grassland near the sea; SE.England from Essex to Hampshire.
ID: Forewing with longitudinal white/pale streaks, with oblique streaks on or between veins extending to costa and without scattered fuscous scales >25 species
Female genitalia: Ductus bursae without a spiculate section but with a sclerotised introitus vaginae and a sclerotised section of the ductus bursae; ostium bursae narrow, incision in posterior margin of subgenital plate not extending to half length of subgenital plate, introitus vaginae approximately same width as ductus bursae.
