45.008 Gillmeria pallidactyla (Yarrow Plume)
ws: 23-27mm; Jun-Jul; yarrow (Achillea millefolium); common throughout GB
ID: G.ochrodactyla is very similar but it has rings of dark brown above each of the hindtibial spurs and at the distal end of the 1st hindtarsal segment. This distinction is best observed between the two pairs of hindtarsal spurs - in G.pallidactyla this interval is entirely brown; in G.ochrodactyla the proximal half is white and the distal half brown.
