Synonym: Epiblema rosaecolana
ID: Very similar to N.trimaculana and N.roborana and overlaps in size with both. Distinguished by shorter costal fold in male (to 2/5 in N.rosaecolana, to 1/2 in N.trimaculana/roborana); narrower costal strigulae and a greater number of them - >10 strigulae between apical spot and basal patch should identify this species (13 in specimens §1&2).
