ID: Variable in colour and markings; characteristic pale median thoracic crest; hindwing pearly white with darker veins and margins.
Form saucia: forewing brown with darker markings.
Form nigricosta: costal half of forewing dark, dorsal half pale
Form margaritosa: forewing fairly uniformly reddish-brown
