70.153 Eupithecia plumbeolata (Lead-coloured Pug)
fw: 9-10mm; May-Jun; common cow-wheat (Melampyrum pratense); NS-B in open woodland in England, Wales and parts of Scotland
ID: A small yellow-grey or brown pug with more-or-less distinct wavy crosslines and an indistinct or absent central spot. Similar to E.haworthata (Haworth's Pug) which has an orange band at the base of the abdominal dorsum; E.valerianata (Valerian Pug) and E.pygmaeata (Marsh Pug) both of which have a white spot at the tornus.
