fw: 15-17mm (Waring & Townsend), ws: 36-38mm (MBGBI9); Jul-Aug; various herbaceous plants; common throughout GB mostly in wet habitats.
ID: Ground colour light to dark brown; all markings are darker brown than the ground colour - outline of oval and kidney marks, veins lined and the 6 'stripes' are fine basal, antemedian and postmedian lines, broader and more diffuse median and subterminal lines and a terminal line.
