A. Anterior processes of A9 short and stout
- Central process broad and truncate, broad U-shaped notch on each side of it; anterior processes weakly sclerotised > D.subpurpurella
- Central process broad and shallowly excavate; aedeagus and paramere very irregular in outline > E.unimaculella
B. Anterior processes of A9 about as long as ventral surface of A9
- Paramere distinctly kinked at ⅕ from base; aedeagus fairly straight > P.chrysolepidella
- Paramere smoothly curved in basal ⅓, aedeagus kinked at ~⅔ > E.sparrmanella
- Paramere distinctly kinked at ⅓; aedeagus kinked at ⅔ > E.salopiella
- Paramere shallowly smoothly curved in basal ½, aedeagus kinked at ⅗ > E.cicatricella
- Paramere deeply smoothly curved in basal ⅓, broad and serrate at apex; aedeagus smoothly curved > E.semipurpurella
- Paramere and aedeagus slightly sinuate; uncus lobes short (quadrate in lateral view) > E.sangii
