Some work on distinguishing the Ancylis geminana /subarcuana/ diminutana complex has led to considering a specimen I obtained in 2011 as probably A.diminutana - a new species for the site. Dissections from a visit to Cliburn Moss in June have produced 2 new species: Parornix scoticella and Monochroa suffusella. - the latter being the first record of this species for Cumbria and the most northerly record of this species for Great Britain. 1592 Species presented. |
