Trapping this month was as follows: 4th Foulness (Essex), 5th Strumpshaw Fen (Norfok), 6th Foulden Common (Norfolk), 11th Foulness (Essex), 17th-23rd inc. Eyeworth, New Forest (Hampshire), 24th-30th inc. Romansleigh (Devon). The weather in the second half of the month was disappointly cool and generally poor, though there were 2 or 3 rewarding nights.
