In just over 2 weeks on St Marys, Isles of Scilly, I did obtain some scarce migrants, most notably 4 Radford's Flame Shoulders - but this is the first time I have returned from Scilly without any species new to me - in my own or anyone else's traps.
​Only 2 species added to the site this month - 1459 species presented.

I have set traps in apparently suitable locations before but failed to obtain Figure of Eight. At Belton Hills, on a warm late October night, 4 came to 2 actinic Heath traps within half an hour and were netted - but in the morning there were none actually in the traps.
