DIssections from trapping earlier in the year revealed Celypha rufana from Dungeness - this RDB species is best known from NW.England and Wales, but has occasionally been found in Kent. A difficult to identify Eucosma from Cranwich Camp turned out to be E.fulvana - which is apparently a FIRST FOR NORFOLK as well as being first for me. I omitted to mention last month that trapping at Burnbanks, Cumbria had added Diurnea lipsiella to my list - it is now added to the site.
So - 4 species added brings the total presented to 1463
And I have written a page on identification of the Eucosma hohenwartiana / fulvana / parvulana group
