Examination of an Agonopterix specimen from Bernwood Forest confirmed this to be A.liturosa. This identification caused me to re-examine the specimen I had previously presented as A.liturosa and re-identify it as A.conterminella - which is now presented as a species new to the site.

7th: Having abandoned a planned trip to Foulden, Norfolk, due to an adverse weather forecast, I set a trap in my garden and obtained 8 Box-tree Moths, 6 bordered morph and 2 dark morph.

21st Trapping at Mullion, on the Lizard Peninsula in rather unfavourable conditions was rewarded with
73.236 Polymixis xanthomista (Black-banded)
I only noticed this disguised against the attachment for an actinic bulb in one of my 2 Heath traps when I was packing up after having emptied these and 2 mvs disappointed that I had not caught anything interesting.
